Vietjet opens Da Nang–India’s Ahmedabad new flight service

VGP - Budget carrier Vietjet Air on October 23 officially launched the direct air route connecting the central city of Da Nang and Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, India’s westernmost state.

The new route will increase Vietjet’s routes between Viet Nam and India–a country of 1.4 billion people to 8 ones, with 60 flights per week.

Flights from Da Nang to Ahmedabad depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:10 pm (local time) and land at Ahmedabad at 11:25 pm (local time).

Return flights from Ahmedabad to Da Nang are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays at 00:25 am (local time), and arrived in Da Nang International Airport at 6:55 am (local time).

Indian travelers will have the opportunity to explore Da Nang, Viet Nam’s most livable city, and explore the cultural heritage of Central Viet Nam, from Da Nang to Hoi An ancient city (Quang Nam Province) and Hue city (Thua Thien-Hue Province), famous for stunning beaches, luxurious resorts, and unique cultural and culinary experiences in this hospitable country.

In recent years, Viet Nam has continuously welcomed many Indian tourist groups. According to the General Statistics Office, in the first nine months of 2024, India was the 8th largest source of tourists of Viet Nam with 353,000 visitors./.
