Viet Nam’s law code makes debut
VGP - The Ministry of Justice officially launched the Viet Nam’s law code which systematizes nearly 9,000 valid central-level legal documents in Viet Nam, in an ceremony in Ha Noi on November 5.
Accordingly, 8,489 valid legal documents are collected and classified into 45 sections in logical and scientific order.
The code comprises 290 documents issued by the National Assembly, 82 others from the National Assembly Standing Committee, 1,365 others of the Government, 596 others of the Prime Minister and 6,156 others of ministries and sectors.
The code serves as a free reference for agencies, organizations, and individuals. People can find the law codification at the Ministry of Justice's website: phapdien.moj.gov.vn.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Justice Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh underscored the importance of the codification to ensuring the openness, transparency and accessibility.
He called on ministries, agencies, and localities to join hands to strengthen the effectiveness of State management in the codification of legal documents and utilize information-technology in the work./.
