Average occupancy rate was estimated at 56 percent, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.85 percent.

This year's holiday saw localities, tourist sites, businesses, and accommodations make significant investments in infrastructure, improve service quality, and enhance hospitality.

Most destinations kept tourism service prices stable compared to regular days, with many accommodations not charging holiday surcharges.

In Ha Noi, 672,900 holidaymakers were recorded, up 5 percent from the previous year.

Ho Chi Minh City welcomed nearly 39,000 international visitors, and about 425,000 domestic tourists, contributing 120 million USD to the city's tourism revenue.

The Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2024 in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai attracted 120,000 visitors.

In the northern province of Tuyen Quang, the giant mid-autumn lantern parade drew over 100,000 visitors, and pocketed around US$7.4 million.

The Central Highlands region also experienced an uptick in visitor numbers, thanks to highlight events, such as the durian festival and the gong culture festival./.
