Le reiterated that Viet Nam attaches importance to its traditional friendship with Uruguay and highly values Uruguay's role, position and contributions to the regional and international communities.

He proposed that the two sides make preparations for high-level delegation exchanges, while strengthening Party-to-Party relations and ties between their National Assemblies and ministries and sectors.

Le also called for greater information sharing and business connectivity to translate political will and cooperation potential into concrete results.

The host also expressed his wish that the two sides leverage their respective roles as bridges and support each other in strengthening ties with regional institutions such as the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) and ASEAN, while promoting their role as gateways connecting Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Cabrera, for his part, affirmed that Uruguay attaches particular importance to strengthening strategic-level relations with Viet Nam amid a complex and unpredictable global environment.

She agreed with the orientations put forward by the Vietnamese Minister, affirming Uruguay's readiness to work together to elevate bilateral relations through concrete steps, while closely working with Viet Nam on inter-regional cooperation.

The guest expressed her wish to strengthen ties between the two National Assemblies, the two business communities and trade promotion agencies, while further fostering stronger ties in combating transnational crime, culture and sports, particularly football./.
