Viet Nam to host 13th Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival in 2023

VGP - The Government of Viet Nam has decided to host the 13th Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival in August 2023.

The event is scheduled to take place in the central coastal city of Da Nang with the participation of students from 11 countries in the region: Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.

The participants will compete in six sports, which will be defined and announced by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET). 

The MoET has been tasked to join hands with Da Nang City's authority and other relevant agencies to organize the event. 

A steering committee has been set up to prepare for and organize the festival, consisting of representatives from ministries and agencies./.
