The Vietnamese leader made the above statement during his reception for Indian Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh in Ha Noi on Tuesday.

To spoke highly of India's contributions to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world, reiterating Viet Nam's support for India's greater global role.

The Vietnamese leader called on both sides to enhance information sharing and coordination over regional and international issues and at multilateral forums, particularly ASEAN-led mechanisms, including the ADMM Plus.

On bilateral cooperation, To affirmed that Viet Nam always views India as one of its partners of top importance, adding that the recent upgrade of bilateral ties to an enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership will help further consolidate political trust and open up more opportunities for both sides to expand and deepen cooperation in various fields.

He suggested both countries continue to step up delegation and peope-to-people exchanges, accelerate trade and investment collaboration, and expand cooperation in science and technology.

To highly valued the outcomes of the talks held earlier the same day between Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang and Indian Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh, calling on both sides to continue full and effective implementation of defense cooperation agreements.

Singh said his ongoing visit to Viet Nam reflects the Indian Government's strong commitment to realizing the high-level agreements and advancing relations between the two countries.

He affirmed India will continue to bolster defense cooperation while promoting scientific and technological cooperation, aviation and maritime linkages with Viet Nam./.
