Addressing the event, the Prime Minister emphasized that delegates shared a common understanding of the world, upholding multilateralism and international law, strengthening and maximizing the spirit of international solidarity in order to jointly address the common challenges.

Green transition and digital transformation are two fundamental elements and the dual transition (green transition and digital transformation) has become an objective requirement, a strategic choice, and a top priority for every nation in order to achieve fast and sustainable development, told the leader.

The Prime Minister held that the forum reached consensus on the three key levers to promote digital transformation, green transition, and sustainable development in the coming period, including institutions, resources, and innovation.

The delegates all agreed on an approach that places people at the center, he said, adding that people are the goal, the driving force, and the resource for development.

The Government leader expressed his appreciation for delegates' advocate for Viet Nam in its new development path.

Viet Nam will continue to be a reliable and responsible partner of the international community, contributing to peace, stability, and the common development of humanity, asserted Pham.

The nation will remain a safe and highly promising destination for foreign investors, in the spirit of 'harmonized interests and shared risks', told the leader.

Within the framework of the forum, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the World Economic Forum (WEF) released a joint statement on promoting smart manufacturing and responsible industrial transformation in Viet Nam.

The two sides agreed to cooperate on a tailored basis to advance smart manufacturing and responsible industrial transformation in HCM City, contributing to the global rollout of the Lighthouse OS platform.

They will also provide strategy support for smart manufacturing and pilot implementation in HCM City, through practical tools, capacity-building initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities.

The two sides decided to task the Viet Nam Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in HCM City (HCMC C4IR) and the WEF's Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains (AMSC) with coordinating the planning and implementation of Lighthouse OS initiatives in Viet Nam./.
