Viet Nam, Saudi Arabia ink MoU on political consultation
VGP – Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and his Saudi Arabian counterpart Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud inked a Memorandum of Understanding on political consultation between the two foreign ministries on July 5.

At the signing ceremony, held virtually, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud spoke highly of Viet Nam’s increasing status in the world and successful mission as non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2020-2021 tenure.
For his part, Bui asserted that Viet Nam attaches importance to consolidating and strengthening friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with Saudi Arabia - one of Viet Nam's crucial partners in the Middle East.
The signing of the MoU on political consultation would contribute to formulating a framework for promoting cooperation between the two ministries in particular and the two countries in general, Bui stressed.
On the occasion, the two foreign ministers discussed bilateral issues of share interest./.
