Viet Nam reports 13,972 new COVID-19 cases

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 19,972 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, raising the national patient tally to 1,238,082.

The same day, the ministry reported 14,624 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 989,348.

The ministry also announced further 197 fatalities, bringing the nation’s COVID-19 death toll to 25,252, representing 2 percent of the national caseload.

The nation has administered 122,083,464 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 2,235,445 doses from Monday./.
