Viet Nam provides US$300,000 in aid to help Venezuela overcome earthquake consequences
VGP – Viet Nam has decided to provide US$300,000 in aid to held Venezuela overcome the consequences of recent catastrophic earthquakes and stabilize life in affected areas.
On June 29, Viet Nam sent two rescue teams to Venezuela to assist rescue efforts. The teams comprise 82 military personnel from the Ministry of Public Security and 42 others from the Ministry of National Defense.
More than 3,500 people have died after a pair of earthquakes struck Venezuela last week, while nearly 18,000 people remain unhoused, reported Aljazeera news outlet on July 7.
