The Prime Minister made the remarks during a meeting with Esteban Lazo Hernández, President of the National Assembly of People's Power and President of the Council of State of Cuba, in Ha Noi on October 1.
Welcoming Mr. Lazo on his official visit, which coincides with the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Prime Minister Pham said the visit demonstrates the brotherly friendship, comradeship, and Cuba's longstanding solidarity with the Vietnamese people.
The guest leader said that that Viet Nam closely follows developments in Cuba, shares the country's challenges, and is confident that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba, Cuba will continue to safeguard its achievements and achieve further successes in national development.
