Zapolsky said, Viet Nam has huge opportunities for cooperation in areas where Amazon has strengths, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and big data.
He took the occasion to express thanks to the leaders of the Party and State of Viet Nam for their support for Amazon's investment and business activities in the country over the past decade.
Zapolsky expressed confidence in Viet Nam's development potential, given its specific goals, strategies, and policies.
Amazon's leadership also emphasized the corporation's long-term investment commitment in Viet Nam and its readiness to accompany the nation in developing digital infrastructure and training human resources, thereby contributing to the nation's socio-economic achievements.
To, for his side, highly appreciated Amazon's investment and business performance in Viet Nam in recent years, and acknowledged its positive contributions to the nation's development as well as to Viet Nam–U.S. relations.
Viet Nam regards the U.S. as one of its most important partners, reiterated the top Vietnamese leader, saying that the Southeast Asian nation stands ready to create favorable conditions for U.S. high-tech corporations to invest and operate in Viet Nam on the basis of harmonized interests, contributing to the development of bilateral relations and bringing practical benefits to their people and businesses.
He proposed Amazon further leverage its strengths and positive achievements in investment and business operations in Viet Nam, continue serving as an important partner of Viet Nam in implementing Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation, and make practical contributions in such areas as data infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and the training of high-quality human resources in Viet Nam./.
