The storm, known in the Philippines as Agaton, hit the Philippines on April 10.

Megi was the first cyclone this year to stroke the Philippines, burying many under landslides and killing at least 123 people.

More than 162,000 residents have to take shelter in evacuation centers.

It also caused landfall in the Philippines last Sunday, with sustained winds of up to 65kmh and gusts of up to 80kmh./.
