The Government chief made the above statement during his meeting with President of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg Fernand Etgen on December 9.

Pham conveyed Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue's invitation to Fernand Etgen to visit Viet Nam next year.

He took the occasion to call on the EU member countries to promptly ratify the EU-Viet Nam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), and the European Commission to soon remove "yellow card" on Vietnamese seafood exports.

The Prime Minister also asked Luxembourg to assist Viet Nam in building an international financial center, and enhance cooperation with the Southeast Asian country in such areas like digital transformation, green transition, climate change, finance-banking, and logistics.

On the East Sea issue, Pham restated Viet Nam's consistent position and called for the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg's support for settling disputes through peaceful measures, full and effective implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea, and conclusion of an effective and substantive Code of Conduct in the East Sea in line with international law and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

The same day, Prime Minister Pham also met with leaders of some Luxembourger business giants like B-Medical Systems, Paul Wurth, CargoLux./.
