Viet Nam expects stronger energy cooperation with Saudi Arabia
VGP – Prime Minister Le Minh Hung met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi on September 13 (local time).

Le congratulated Saudi Arabia on its national development achievements, which have contributed to elevating the Middle East country's regional and international standing.
He took the occasion to convey General Secretary and President To Lam's greetings and invitation to Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to visit Viet Nam soon.
Le affirmed Saudi Arabia remains one of Viet Nam's major partners in the Middle East, and expressed his desire to work with Saudi Arabia to further advance the bilateral ties in an effective and practical manner.
The Vietnamese Prime Minister suggested both sides step up energy cooperation through forming a joint working group to discuss on energy reserves and specific projects./.
