Viet Nam, DPRK mark 75th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations

Addressing the banquet hosted by the DPRK's Embassy in Viet Nam, Bui said that the traditional and friendly relationship between Viet Nam and the DPRK, built and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung, has overcome historical ups and downs and been continuously strengthened by generations of the Vietnamese and korean leaders.

Bui reassured Viet Nam's commitment to working with the Party, Government, and people of the DPRK in deepening the two sides' traditional friendship and cooperation, particularly during the Viet Nam–DPRK Friendship Year 2025, thus contributing to maintain peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.

In reply, Ri emphasized that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and the DPRK in 1950 was a historic milestone, marking the start of the friendship, solidarity and cooperation between people of the two countries.

The DPRK will continue efforts to further consolidate and enhance its friendship and cooperation with Viet Nam in the future, affirmed the Ambassador.

The diplomat expressed his wish that the Party, Government, and people of Viet Nam would continue to gain greater achievements in the process of building a strong, prosperous and civilized socialist Viet Nam./.
