Viet Nam documents 978 new COVID-19 cases
VGP - The Ministry of Health reported 978 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, raising the national caseload to 11,477,886.

The same day, 1,100 patients were declared free of the virus, taking the total number of recoveries at 10,590,917.
The ministry also announced one more fatality, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 43,148 or 0.4 percent of the national caseload.
The nation has administered 260,065,575 COVID-19 vaccine doses so far, an increase of 48,759 doses from Wednesday./.
