Viet Nam Airlines operates a second special flight carrying Viet Nam's humanitarian relief supplies to Venezuela, helping the country respond to and recover from the devastating earthquakes

The mission ensured the uninterrupted delivery of emergency assistance following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela.

Earlier, Viet Nam completed its first special flight, carrying 124 personnel from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, together with 10 search-and-rescue dogs and 25 tons of equipment and supplies to Venezuela.

With the completion of these two special flights, the national carrier has successfully transported Viet Nam's rescue personnel and humanitarian relief supplies to Venezuela, contributing to the timely implementation of humanitarian assistance in the aftermath of the earthquakes.

On June 29, Venezuela's Acting President Delcy Rodríguez expressed her gratitude to Viet Nam for its solidarity and assistance during the country's difficult time, following two consecutive earthquakes that caused extensive damage in areas of Caracas and La Guaira State.

The Government and people of Venezuela highly appreciate Viet Nam's deployment of a 124-member rescue team, which has made a significant contribution to strengthening search and rescue operations and humanitarian relief efforts, she shared.

Viet Nam is one of 30 countries that have deployed rescue teams to Venezuela to support search and rescue operations, Rodríguez noted./.
