Viet Nam condemns dangerous escalatory actions in the Middle East

In response to a reporter's question regarding Viet Nam's reaction to the recent escalation of tensions in the Middle East, Pham said, Viet Nam is deeply concerned about the current tensions in the Middle East and condemns dangerous escalatory actions, the use of force, violations of international law and the United Nations Charter, and infringements upon the sovereignty of nations.

"We call on all relevant parties to exercise restraint, refrain from actions that escalate tensions, and resolve differences via peaceful measures, in strict compliance with international law, the UN Charter, and relevant UN resolutions", she said.

Viet Nam urges all related sides to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries and support the facilitation of ongoing peaceful negotiations for the interest of security, safety, peace, and stability in the region and the world, said the diplomat./.
