Viet Nam, China sign 14 cooperation documents

VGP – General Secretary and President To Lam and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping witnessed the signing of 14 cooperation documents between ministries, agencies and localities of the two countries on August 19 as part of the top Vietnamese leader's state visit to China.

These documents are:

- A memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee (National Academy of Governance)

- A memorandum of understanding on industrial cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.

- A certificate of the handover of the results of the aid project for Viet Nam in the Lao Cai – Ha Noi - Hai Phong standard gauge railway planning between the Government of Viet Nam and the Government of China.

- A memorandum of understanding on healthcare cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Viet Nam and the National Health Commission of China

- A memorandum of understanding between the State Bank of Viet Nam and the People's Bank of China on enhancing cooperation and information exchange in banking operations

- A protocol on plant quarantine requirement for fresh coconuts exported from Viet Nam to China between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) of Viet Nam and the General Administration of Customs China (GACC)

- A protocol on plant quarantine and health requirements for farmed crocodiles exported from Viet Nam to China between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Viet Nam and the General Administration of Customs China

- A protocol on plant quarantine and food safety for frozen durian exported from Viet Nam to China between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Viet Nam and the General Administration of Customs China

- A memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Viet Nam and the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) on promoting development cooperation projects in the social and livelihood fields

- An official letter between the Ministry of Transport of Viet Nam and the CIDCA on the feasibility study of the technical aid project for planning two standard gauge railway routes of Lang Son – Ha Noi and Mong Cai - Ha Long – Ha Noi

- An agreement on professional cooperation between the Viet Nam News Agency and China's Xinhua News Agency

- A memorandum of understanding on strengthening cooperation between the Viet Nam Television and the China Central Radio and Television

- A memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Health of Viet Nam and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on cooperation in traditional medicine

- A memorandum of understanding on press and media exchange program for 2024-2029 between the Viet Nam Journalists' Association and the All-China Journalists Association (ACJA)./.
