He spoke highly of the collaboration between Viet Nam's Ministry of Public Security and Cambodia's Ministry of Interior and the successful talks between the two ministers, which reflects the deep mutual understanding and commitment to implementing high-level agreements.

Pham expressed his hope that the two ministries will work together to address issues of mutual concern, and push for stronger ties in digital transformation, population data systems, and other key areas.

He suggested the two countries strengthen cooperation to combat transnational crimes, especially those related to drugs, human trafficking, and online fraud gangs based in Cambodia.

Pham called for joint efforts to address hostile forces undermining the bilateral ties and the two nations, and address the citizenship issue for people of Vietnamese origin who are working and living stably and legally in Cambodia.

He underlined the need to speed up demarcation and border marker planting process and resolve remaining border ssues in order to build a border of peace, stability, friendship, cooperation, and development.

Sar Sokha, for his part, said that he and young Cambodian leaders vow to further strengthening Viet Nam-Cambodia relations towards a more effective and practical manner.

The Cambodian Ministry of Interior will work closely with Viet Nam's Ministry of Public Security as well as other ministries and localities in the fight against cross-border crimes, particularly drug trafficking and cyberspace crime.

He reaffirmed Cambodia's commitment to nurturing the bilateral relationship and facilitating the legal status for people of Vietnamese origin to enable them to live and work stably and legally in Cambodia.
