The above information was released at the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic cooperation between the STB, national carrier Viet Nam Airlines and Singapore's Sentosa Development Corporation which took place in Ha Noi on May 20.

The three sides will work together to promote Singapore as an ideal destination for both leisure and business travel from Viet Nam.

Singapore has always been one of Viet Nam Airlines' key markets in Southeast Asia. The national flag carrier has served over 8.1 million passengers after more than 30 years since the launch of the first route between the two countries.

Currently, Viet Nam Airlines operates 21 flights per week connecting Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with Singapore. In 2024 alone, the airline transported more than 400,000 passengers on these routes. In the first four months of 2025, the number reached 116,000 passengers./.
