Viet Nam among Asia’s most revisited travel destinations: Agoda
VGP - Viet Nam has risen to third place in Agoda’s 2025 Return Visitor Rank, only behind Japan and Thailand.
According to booking data from the digital travel platform Agoda, the central city of Da Nang has entered the Top 10 most revisited cities in Asia for the first time, marking a significant breakthrough, as Viet Nam had no representatives on the list last year.
The vibrant coastal city has officially made its mark among Asia's top travel destinations, reflecting the growing appeal of Viet Nam on the regional tourism map.
Regarding cities that travelers keep returning to within Viet Nam, the Top 5 include Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, and Phu Quoc Island.
Coastal favorites like Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc continue to draw visitors back with their sun-soaked beaches, laid-back charm, and inviting resorts.
Meanwhile, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City captivate return guests with their dynamic energy, rich history, and vibrant culinary scenes, offering the perfect balance between relaxation and cultural exploration.

Country Director at Agoda Vu Ngoc Lam shared, Viet Nam's emergence as a top destination for return travelers in Asia reflects the country's diverse and evolving appeal.
From vibrant urban hubs to stunning coastal escapes, Viet Nam offers compelling experiences that keep visitors coming back, he added.
Around 1.56 million international visitors travelled to Viet Nam in July, bringing the total number of foreign arrivals in the first seven months to 12.2 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.5 percent, the Viet Nam National Tourism Department reported.
The nation set an ambitious goal of attracting 22 to 23 million international visitors in 2025 compared to 17.5 million foreign visitors in the previous year./.
