Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has signed a Decision approving a plan on the development of young Vietnamese talents during the 2022-2030 period.

The plan aims to detect, honor, nourish and develop Vietnamese young talents with a view to fostering high-quality human resources, implanting patriotism and dedication aspirations of young Vietnamese talents and inspiring the youth to join in the course of national development towards prosperity and happiness.

Accordingly, every year, 70 percent of youth are equipped with information about the guideline, policies and activities relevant to detecting and nourishing young talents across all sectors.

By 2030, at least 60 percent of young talents will be assisted to take part in knowledge sharing, community and socio-economic development activities.

Viet Nam was ranked 96 out of 132 countries on the 2020 Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI)./.
