VGP launches new interfaces, mobile apps
VGP – New interfaces and mobile apps of the Viet Nam Government Portal (VGP) and its subsites made debut on Tuesday.

Present at the event included Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh, Head of the Government Committee on Cipher Vu Ngoc Thiem, Vice President of the Viet Nam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi and General Director of the VGP Nguyen Hong Sam.
Addressing the event, the Deputy PM highlighted the important role of the VGP as one of the key information agencies of the Government.
The VGP has made substantial progress in collecting and reporting to the Government the feedbacks and recommendations from compatriots and international friends, Vu said.
He asked the VGP and other press agencies to further step up mainstream information on the guidelines, policies and decisions of the Government and the Prime Minister.
He particularly emphasized that the VGP needs to lay greater focus on the policy-making process so as to help the Government ensure quality of legal documents.
Vu also asked the VGP to fast and accurate information dissemination while doubling efforts to diversify ways of communication to different groups of readers.
Established on January 10, 2006, the VGP is tasked to disseminate the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, and the Government's performance; manage, publish and distribute printed and electronic Official Gazette of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; and collect and propose to the Government on how to handle emerging issues of public concern./.
