The final conclusion will be issued by July 15, 2024, said the DOC, according the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The DOC also decided to extend the deadline to issue preliminary and final conclusions of its investigations into alleged circumvention of trade defense tax evasion of Vietnamese wooden cabinets until July 27 and October 28, 2024.

In September 2023, the DOC issued an investigation notice to adjust the preliminary conclusion that it issued in March 2023, which listed three cases of wooden cabinets imported from Viet Nam, which have suspected components made in China.

since April 2020, the US has imposed anti-dumping and subsidy duties on wooden cabinets originating from China, with anti-dumping duties ranging from 4.37 per cent to 262.18 per cent and anti-subsidy duties ranging from 13.33 per cent to 293.45 per cent./.
