State President Quang welcomed the working visit and treasured the positive participation of the U.S. National APEC Centre to APEC’s activities in Viet Nam.

The State President suggested the Centre work with the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry to share experience for Viet Nam to successfully accomplish the year- long hosting.

The Vietnamese State hails initiatives of the business community in favor of trade and investment cooperation, said Mr. Quang.

He also affirmed that Viet Nam hopes to attract American enterprises to set footholds in such areas as infrastructure, high-tech, energy, service and facilitate micro and small-sized enterprises to join the global value and supply chains.

“There are  wide doors for American businesses to beef up cooperation with Vietnamese partners,” said Mr. Quang.

For her part, Ms. Monica Whaley applauded the agenda of the APEC Viet Nam 2017.

According to the guest leader, the CEO Summit in Viet Nam would be an import event for businesses of APEC member economies.

As a platinum co-sponsors for the CEO Summit 2017, the  U.S. National APEC Centre had already set up a plan to invite American businesses to join the event, she added.

The guest leader also vowed to spare no effort to shake hands with Viet Nam for the successful organization of the CEO Summit 2017./.
