UNESCO's Heritage Director visits Thang Long Citadel

VGP - Director of UNESCO's World Heritage Center Kishore Rao, during his visit to the Citadel in Ha Noi on September 13, applauded the preservation of Thang Long-Ha Noi Imperial Citadel after the site was recognized as a World Heritage Site.

Rao’s tour was part of activities to mark the 40^th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Since 2010, many seminars have been held to review the results of archaeological work at the Imperial Citadel.
