UEH among Top 66 universities in Asia
VGP - The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) was recognized as the “Best University in Viet Nam” and among the Top 66 universities in Asia, according to the European Commission’s university ranking organization (U-Multirank).
The UEH is highly appreciated in the U-Multirank ranking of training results.
Specifically, the university graduation rate is 83.24 percent for bachelors (B score) and 77.46 for masters (C score).
Its graduation rate is 97.84 percent for masters while research results (citation rate, number of international publications with international co-authors) got A score.
Number of publications in cooperation with local stakeholders (state agencies, enterprises) attained C score.
The group of criteria for knowledge transfer, contribution to lifelong career development also received pretty good ratings.
In 2021, the UEH has 507 articles published in prestigious international journals in the Web of Science, Scopus and ABDC databases, an increase of 33 percent compared to 2020.
Of which, 83 .8 percent of articles published in journals ranked in Q1 and Q2 subgroups according to Scopus database (of which Q1 accounted for 56.5 percent). Meanwhile, 20.1 percent of UEH's publications are in the TOP 10 percent of the most cited publications in the world.
Previously, in 2020, the UEH was one of 25 top performers in income from continuous professional development, making the fourth time presence in the ranking.
