Two Vietnamese cities ranked among world’s most outstanding tourist cities
VGP - The Telegraph Travel Awards 2025 have honored Vietnamese metropolises, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, among the 105 most outstanding tourist cities in the world.

The award, organized by the UK-based newspaper The Telegraph, attracted votes from around 20,000 readers, who selected their favorite destinations across various categories.
Specifically, Ha Noi ranked 31st while Ho Chi Minh City placed 77th.
Ha Noi's ranking places it ahead of several well-known Asian destinations such as Thailand's Bangkok (40th), India's Mumbai (43rd), Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur (68th), and UAE's Dubai (73rd).
The Telegraph describes Ha Noi as a dynamic city ideal for those drawn to cultural richness and the fusion of tradition and modernity, especially reflected in its unique East-West architectural heritage.
Statistics of Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism showed that 4.21 million foreign arrivals traveled to the capital city in the first seven months of the year.
Ha Noi aims to welcome 7.5 million international tourists, and earn VND 130 trillion (US$5.1 billion) in tourism revenue in 2025.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam's southern hub, is depicted as a vibrant destination defined by the roar of motorbikes, colonial-era architecture, glittering skyscrapers, and modern shopping centers—evoking its energetic urban spirit.
During the seven-month period, international visitors to the city totaled 4.5 million, up 48 percent year-on-year./.
