Two more COVID-19 infection cases confirmed, total rises to 260

VGP – The Ministry of Health has confirmed two more COVID-19 infection cases, raising the patient tally to 260.

Patient 259 is a 41-year old woman from Ha Loi Village, Me Linh Commune of Ha Noi’s Me Linh District. She is spouse of patient numbered 254.

Patient 260 is a 35-year old woman residing Ha Loi Village, Me Linh Commune of Ha Noi’s Me Linh District.

Ha Loi has emerged as the new COVID-19 cluster in the capital city with 8 infection cases having been confirmed so far.

The whole village, with 2,711 households and 11,077 people, has been isolated and all residents are being tested for the novel coronavirus.

This afternoon, Ha Noi Department of Health dispatched 15 fast-response teams to the village to take samples for COVID-19 tests.

Of the total COVID-19 infection cases confirmed in Viet Nam, 144 have been cleared of the virus and released from hospitals./.
