Thua Thien-Hue province, the hardest-hit locality, reported two fatalities. One of them was swept away while crossing a rapidly flooded road while the another was carried off while setting a fishing net.

The other death was reported in Quang Nam province after falling from a roof while attempting to secure it.

Heavy rains, fierce waves, and high tides battered the coastline and coastal embankments.

Several areas in Thua Thien Hue experienced power outages due to disruptions in the 110kV power grid and distribution network. With the storm now dissipated, the power sector is working diligently to restore electricity.

In Da Nang City, powerful waves dislodged pavement tiles on Nhu Nguyet Street along the Han River in Hai Chau District.

Four airports in the central of Viet Nam have resumed operations on October 27 afternoon after Typhoon Trami made its way through the region. Specifically, the Da Nang International Airport in Da Nang city and Phu Bai International Airport in Thua Thien – Hue province returned to normal services from 16:00, and Chu Lai Airport in Quang Ngai province from 1 p.m.

The storm's circulation was forecast to cause heavy to very heavy rainfall in the area from South Ha Tinh to Thua Thien Hue from this night./.
