Trade surplus exceeds US$6.5 bln in Jan-Sept period
VGP - Viet Nam’s trade surplus was estimated to reach US$6.52 billion in the last nine months of 2022, according to the General Statistics Office.
Over the reviewed period, the nation earned US$282.52 billion from exporting, a year-on-year increase of 17.3 percent.
Meanwhile, import value witnessed rose by 13 percent to US$276 billion.
The U.S. remained the largest importer of Vietnamese goods with US$86.3 billion while China was Viet Nam's largest import market with US$91.6 billion.
The Southeast Asian nation enjoyed a trade surplus of US$24.3 billion with the EU and recorded a trade deficit worth US$51.5 billion with China./.
