Tran reiterated that Viet Nam always treasures and wishes to deepen its special traditional relations and all-round cooperation with Cuba.

Hernández expressed deep gratitude to the Vietnamese Party, State, NA and people for their genuine and consistent support for the Cuban revolution, particularly during challenging times.

He appreciated contributions from the Vietnamese people through the support campaign launched by the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and the Viet Nam Red Cross Society, stressing that this meaningful assistance will be directed towards urgent socio-economic needs to improve the Cuban people's livelihoods.

The two top legislators vowed to continue to support the exchange of delegations at all levels in the coming time, regularly maintain cooperation mechanisms between the two Parties, Governments, NAs and bilateral political-diplomatic, economic-trade and defense mechanisms.

They underlined the need to promote the effective implementation of legal policies to support businesses, increase investment in areas suitable to the needs, conditions and capacity of each country; create conditions and supervise the effective implementation of agreed key cooperation projects; and concretlize other potential areas of cooperation such as tourism, telecommunications and digital transformation.

The two leaders pledged to increase the exchange of experience between the two countries and the two NAs on law-making, encourage business development, attract foreign investment, financial management, develop agricultural production, apply science and technology, digital transformation and other areas of mutual interest.

Both sides promised to effectively implement agreements and commitments between the leaders of the two countries, and promote new cooperation methods, while educating the young generation about the tradition of Viet Nam-Cuba relations.

Regarding international and regional issues of mutual concern, the pair affirmed to support each other at international organizations and multilateral forums, especially at the Inter-Parliamentary Union General Assembly./.
