Top Thai Brands exhibition underway

Top Thai Brands Ha Noi 2021 is underway at the Hanoi International Exhibition Centre from April 1 to 4 showcasing Thailand's high-quality products and services

The four-day event is hosted by the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, the Office of Commercial Affairs under the Royal Thai Embassy in Ha Noi, in co-operation with the Viet Nam National Trade Fair and Advertising and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam.

Addressing the launch ceremony, the representative from the Thai Embassy, Morakot Janemathukorn, said that the “Top Thai Brands Ha Noi 2021” is a special event held on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Thailand and Viet Nam.

The expo sees the participation of 69 enterprises and features 90 booths of Thai products in addition to 31 online booths.

Various types of Thai products are being showcased at the exhibition including food, beverages, home appliances, apparel, jewelry, beauty care products, decorations, souvenirs, tourism services, and others.

Special activities like Songkran Festival, Thailand Photoshoot, Thai Boxing, Thai food tasting and Thai dancing performance will also be held as part of the exhibition.

Top Thai Brands Ha Noi 2021 expects to reboot the business connection between Vietnamese importers and Thai exporters, contributing to trade relations between Viet Nam and Thailand and strengthening trade co-operation within ASEAN countries. 

Two-way trade revenue between Viet Nam and Thailand expanded by an average of 7.3% per year in the 2015-2020 period.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, bilateral trade revenue reached nearly US$16 billion in 2020, accounting for 30% of Viet  Nam’s total trade revenue with ASEAN countries./.
