Akhannouch highly valued Viet Nam's role, position, and remarkable breakthroughs and successes in implementing its socio-economic development strategy.
The Prime Minister hailed the significance of the National Assembly Chairman's visit, calling on the two countries to further strengthen cooperation across various fields and elevate economic and trade cooperation to match the level of their political relations.
The host expressed his wish to visit Viet Nam soon to promote economic ties and boost Morocco's tourism industry.
Tran, for his part, stated that the political trust between the two legislative bodies have been built on the foundation of regular exchanges and coordination at multilateral parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF).
The Vietnamese legislator suggested both sides enhance delegation exchanges at all levels, especially in 2026, when the two countries will celebrate the 65th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations.
He recommended that Morocco facilitate market access for Viet Nam's key export products such as agricultural goods, leather and footwear, textiles and garments, and seafood.
The two nations should consider the possibility of negotiating and signing a new trade agreement that aligns with the current development context of both countries, he said.
He called on Morocco to create favorable conditions for granting visas to Vietnamese citizens.
Both leaders vowed to promote two-way investment cooperation and serve as gateways for each other in expanding partnerships with their respective regions./.
