He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Legislature Office Bui Van Cuong, Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha, Chairman of the National Assembly's Culture and Education Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, Deputy Minister of National Defense Le Huy Vinh, Deputy Foreign Minister Ha kim Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh, and Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc.

Vuong's upcoming visit to Hungary is expected to deepen the comprehensive partnership and the parliamentary ties between the two nations and the two legislative bodies, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao in a recent interview.

Vuong's visit creates an opportunity for the two sides' senior leaders to reaffirm political commitments to attaching importance to and fostering the bilateral relationship, contributing to economic recovery and sustainable development in the post COVID-19 period, the diplomat emphasized.

Viet Nam and Hungary established diplomatic relations in 1950 and elevated the ties to comprehensive partnership in September 2018 on the occasion of Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's official visit to Hungary.

Hungary donated 256,000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses and 100,000 antigen test kits to Viet Nam as well as freed up and sold another 400,000 doses to the Southeast Asian nation in its COVID-19 fight./.
