Top legislator embarks on official visit to Singapore
VGP – Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man on Sunday embarked on official visit to Singapore at the invitation of Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Seah Kian Peng.
The top Vietnamese legislator is accompanied by Chairman of the NA Committee for External Relations Vu Hai Ha, NA Secretary-General Le Quang Tung, Chairman of the NA Committee for Social Affairs Nguyen Thuy Anh, Chairman of the NA Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Le Quang Huy, Chairman of the NA Committee for Finance-Budget Le Quang Manh, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Do Duc Duy, Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committtee Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Minister of National Defense Vu Hai San, Vice Chairman of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs Nguyen Huu Dong, Deputy Foreign Minister Do Hung Viet, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long, and Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Mai Phuoc Dung.
Following his tour to Singapore, Tran, who is one of the top four leaders in Viet Nam, will pay an official visit to Japan at the invitation of President of the Japanese House of Councilors Sekiguchi Masakazu.
The visits aim to promote legislative cooperation and strategic partnership with Singapore; legislative cooperation and comprehensive strategic partnership with Japan./.
