Top leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on National Reunification Day
VGP - Leaders and former leaders of the Party and the State and Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Ha Noi on April 26 on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975-2024).
Prominent among them were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat and Chairwoman of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai, President of the VFF Central Committee Do Van Chien and Acting President Le Thi Anh Xuan.
The leaders paid their gratitude for the late leader's great contributions to the nation's revolution cause.
On the occasion, they also offered incense and paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.
The same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security also laid wreaths to pay respect to President Ho Chi Minh and heroes and war martyrs.
