Top leader: Viet Nam supports just struggle of Palestinian people
VGP – General Secretary and President To Lam reassured Viet Nam's unwavering support for the just struggle of the Palestinian peopl, during his reception for Palestine's outgoing Ambassador to Viet Nam Saadi Salama in Ha Noi on Thursday.

To Lam reiterated that Viet Nam, within its capacity, stands ready to share with and back the State and people of Palestine, and advocates all efforts to seek a long-term and lasting solution to the peace process in the Middle East on the basis of the two-state solution.
The top Vietnamese leader took the occasion to congratulate Ambassador Saadi Salama, who is also head of the diplomatic corps in Viet Nam, on his successful working term in Viet Nam.
He thanked Palestinian President Palestine Mahmoud Abbas for presenting noble orders and medals to late General Vo Nguyen Giap, former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh, and several other Vietnamese individuals.
Ambassador Saadi Salama conveyed the greetings from President Mahmoud Abbas and other senior Palestinian leaders to General Secretary and President To Lam, as well as other leaders and Vietnamese people for their steadfast support for the just struggle of the Palestinian people.
The diplomat appreciated Viet Nam's participation in the Gaza Board of Peace, saying that the Southeast Asian nation's just and fair stance would positively contribute to the reconstruction process in Gaza Strip and the search for a sustainable and lasting solution to the peace process in the Middle East.
He expressed his admiration for Viet Nam's tremendous achievements in national construction and development, along with its four spiritual values "solidarity, unity, reconciliation, and gratitude."
Saadi Salama said he will share the "Story of Viet Nam" with his fellow countrymen./.
