Top Ivory Coast legislator to pay official visit to Viet Nam
VGP - President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Ivory Coast Patrick Achi will pay an official visit to Viet Nam from August 23-26.

The visit will be made at the invitation of the Vietnamese Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man.
Viet Nam and Ivory Coast established diplomatic relations on October 6, 1975.
In 2025, two-way trade reached US$1.9 billion, with Viet Nam's exports totaling US$698 million and imports amounting to US$1.28 billion.
The two countries have signed agreements and memoranda of understanding, including a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs in May 2014, an Agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports in April, 2017, and a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two National Assemblies in June 2023./.
