To Lam spoke highly of Moore's contributions to the formulation of Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040, expressing his wish that Viet Nam would continue to be a key partner of this Strategy.

He affirmed that Viet Nam regards Australia as one of its top partners in the Indo-Pacific region and wishes to work together with Australia to co-create new growth drivers.

The top Vietnamese leader called on the two countries to jointly implement long-term cooperation programs on innovation, science and technology, human resource development, green finance, high-quality infrastructure, strategic supply chains, education, and research.

The same day, General Secretary and President To Lam also recieved Governor of New South Wales Margaret Beazley and representatives from the Association of Vietnamese scholars and experts in Australia.
