Thirteen Vietnamese universities featured in THE’s Impact Rankings 2024

VGP - Thirteen Vietnamese universities have been named in the Impact Rankings 2024 released by the Times Higher Education (THE), an increase of four compared to the rankings last year.

Among the Vietnamese institutions on the list, Nguyen Tat Thanh University records the highest overall score of between 75.8 – 79.2, ranking in the 301-400 group of universities globally

Specifically, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, which is in the group of 301-400, has the highest ranking among representatives from Viet Nam.

Educational institutions in the 401-600 group include Duy Tan University, FPT University, National Economics University, Ton Duc Thang University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and Viet Nam National University-Ha Noi.

Ha Noi University of Science and Technology is placed in the 601-800 category, while Van Lang University is at 801-1,000 group.

Lac Hong University, Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Phenikaa University are in the group 1,001-1,500 while Vietnamese-German University is named in the 1,501 category.

University Impact Rankings honor universities that excel across multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This is the sixth time THE has announced the list of University Impact Rankings, with 2,152 universities from 125 countries/regions worldwide evaluated.

Some selected criteria include No Poverty; Zero Hunger; Good Health and Wellbeing; Quality Education; Gender Equality; Clean Water and Sanitation; Affordable and Clean Energy; Decent Work and Economic Growth; Partnerships for the Goals; Industry Innovation and Infrastructure; and Responsible Cities and Communities./.
