Techmart opens in southern province

VGP - The Technology and Equipment Fair for the Southern Central and Central Highlands regions (Techmart Quảng Nam) kick-started in Tam Kỳ City, the southern province of Quảng Nam on July 19.

The fair was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the municipal People’s Committee of Hồ Chí Minh City and the provincial People’s Committee of Quảng Nam.

With over 266 pavilions, Techmart Quảng Nam 2011 drew the participation of over 210 enterprises to display over 800 technologies, equipment and software solutions.

In addition, it highlighted products and services in the fields of exploitation and processing of minerals, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, environment protection, marine economic development, and building materials.

The event created a good chance for businesses to display their scientific know-how, technology, equipment and new products, seek partners, and contribute to the formulation and development of the technology market in the Southern Central and Central Highlands regions.

Five contracts on technology transfer worth over VND 300 billion were signed right after the opening ceremony./.
