State President receives Russian ophthalmological expert
VGP – State President Nguyễn Minh Triết on Wednesday welcomed the initiative of establishing the Việt Nam-Russia International Ophthalmology Hospital in Hồ Chí Minh City.

Receiving General Director of Russian S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Complex Khristo Takhchidi in Ha Noi, the State President said that the newly-established Việt Nam-Russia International Ophthalmology Hospital in Ha Noi has become a prestigious medical address for thousands of Vietnamese patients.
He also urged the Complex set up more ophthalmology hospitals in other localities in Việt Nam and speed up the transfer of ophthalmological technology to the Southeast Asian country.
Prof. Khristo Takhchidi said that the Eye Microsurgery Complex pledges to expand the application of modern ophthalmology technologies in Việt Nam and transfer know-how on weak sight treatment for young patients./.
