The visits will be made at the invitations of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Angolan President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço.

Viet Nam and Egypt established diplomatic relations on September 1, 1963.

Egypt was the first North African country to recognize Viet Nam's market economy status (November 2013). It is Viet Nam's largest trading partner in North Africa. In 2024, bilateral trade hit US$541.36 million.

In terms of investment, Egypt has 22 valid projects in Viet Nam with a total registered capital of US$2.87 million.

Meanwhile, Viet Nam set up diplomatic relations with Angola on November 12, 1975, just one day after Angola declared independence. Angola recognized Viet Nam's market economy status in April 2008.

Trade between the two countries reached nearly US$250 million in 2024. Viet Nam mainly exports rice, garments, and coffee while importing timber products and liquefied natural gas from the African country.

As of December 2024, Angola poured US$118.4 million in four projects in Viet Nam. Viet Nam also had four projects in Angola with a total registered capital of US$2.98 million./.
