Spreading traditional cultural values of ethnic groups in the Northwest
VGP - The 15th Northwestern Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival was held in Phu Tho with the theme "Cultural colors of the Northwest's ethnic groups" on December 4 at Hung Vuong Square (Viet Tri).

Two hundred artists from 7 teams representing Phu Tho, Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Son La provinces performed at the show.
Through cultural performances and national costumes, the teams brought special and elaborately choreographed performances to the Festival.
Artist groups contributed to promoting the beauty of culture and people. At the same time, they honored the good traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups in the Northwest in the unified and diverse culture of the 54 ethnic groups in Viet Nam.
At the Festival of Mass Art and the performance of traditional costumes of ethnic groups in the Northwest, many performances attracted many people to participate.
At the end of the Festival, the Art Appraisal Council selected and awarded prizes to the teams that had excellent performances of popular culture and national costumes.
On this occasion, Phu Tho Tourism Promotion Information Center organized the exhibition "Culture - Tourism - Cuisine in the Ancestors' Land" with many tourism products, sightseeing tours, and outstanding destinations of Phu Tho province.
Also, at the exhibition booth, Phu Tho Tourism Association and Phu Tho Culinary Culture Association coordinated to organize a culinary exchange with the participation of more than 20 hotels, restaurants and homestays in the province. The units introduced more than 50 typical dishes of Phu Tho./.
