South Korea supports Viet Nam to successfully host fourth P4G Summit
VGP – South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol voiced his support for Viet Nam to successfully host the fourth Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) Summit in April next year.

Yoon reiterated the support during his meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Seoul on July 2.
President Yoon hailed Viet Nam as the first country in the world to have signed a climate change agreement with South Korea.
South Korea will assist Viet Nam in training human resource for semiconductor chip and high-tech sectors, and in developing its cultural industry, affirmed President Yoon.
He told Prime Minister Pham that South Korean businesses regard Viet Nam as a highly potential investment destination.
Yoon praised Viet Nam for its excellent role as the coordinator of ASEAN-Korea relations and called for continued support in upgrading ASEAN-Korea relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Pham, who is on a four-day official visit to South Korea, briefed President Yoon of the significant outcomes achieved during the talks between the two Prime Ministers, including major directions to promote the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the future.
Pham also highlighted the rapid and substantial progress in the two countries' bilateral cooperation in recent times.
The Prime Minister sought South Korea's collaboration in training human resources in semiconductor, hydrogen and AI sectors.
He also proposed promoting loans through the Economic Development Promotion Fund (EDPF) worth US$2 billion and offering non-binding loan conditions for the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) loans, also worth US$2 billion, to develop strategic infrastructure such as high-speed railways./.
