Samsung Display expands investment in Bac Ninh
VGP – Samsung Display Viet Nam has been received the investment certificate to expand its operation in the Northern province of Bac Ninh with the total addition of US$3 billion.

investment, which is meaningful to the province’s socio-economic development, said Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien.
The project is expected to create US$1.5 billion in revenue in 2015, US$40 billion by 2018 and US$60 billion by 2020 and more than 20,000 jobs.
Most of businesses operating in BacNinh Province have gained success, confirmed Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh.
Samsung Electronics Co Ltd poured US$1 billion in the province and posted an export value of US$17.99 billion in 2014, contributing nearly VND3,000 billion to the State budget and creating 50,000 jobs.
As of July 31, Bac Ninh lure 887 projects in total, worth US$12 billion.
