The prohibited acts or violations against regulations on obligations of smokers specified in Articles 9 and 13 of the Law on tobacco harm prevention must not be depicted in theatrical and cinematographic works, except for the use of tobacco serving the criticism and condemnation of such prohibited acts and violations.

Organization/individual success by manufacturing and trading tobacco products must not be praised. Tobaccos must not be used in theatrical and cinematographic works for kids and other cases in line with the regulations.

According to this Circular, theatrical and cinematographic works (including theatrical and cinematographic works broadcasted on TV) for which images of actors/actresses using tobaccos shall be only used in these cases: Depict a real historical person, recreate a certain historical stage or criticize, condemn the use of tobaccos or serve other artistic purposes that are approved.

Actors/actresses are not allowed to use tobaccos at stages for artistic purposes.
